Susan is a graduate and former teacher at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing and was the chair of the Department of Energy and Spiritual Healing at Capital University of Integrative Medicine where she earned a Doctor of Integrative Medicine degree. As a traditional naturopath and hands-on-healer, Susan broadened her scope from the individual energy field to the family energy field when first exposed to Family Constellations. She completed the first training of the Bert Hellinger Institute, USA, taught by Harald Hohnen and Hunter Beaumont and co-trained with Harald Hohnen the next year in the Washington DC area and has been training ever since.

Susan has attended international intensives at ZIST in Germany and Santa Barbara, CA and many advanced trainings with Bert & Sophie Hellinger through Hellinger Sciencia in Austria; Germany & Mexico; Jakob & Sieglinde Schneider in Munich, Germany; Heinz Stark in the Washington, DC area; Jane Peterson’s Organizational Constellation Online Training and Trainers Training Program in Oregon; Advanced training with Francesca Mason Boring. She had attended conferences in Cologne, Germany and Taipei, Taiwan.

Most recently Susan attended the Hellinger Sciencia International Training with Bert & Sophie Hellinger in Mexico City December 2018 for the celebration of Bert Hellinger’s 92nd birthday. Susan presented at the 1st International Congress of Family Constellations for the Americas in Oaxaca, Mexico, at the 1st US Conference in Portland, OR, was on a panel at the 2nd US Conference in Asheville, NC and presented at the 2011 US Systemic Constellations Conference in San Francisco, CA, at the 2015 US Systemic Constellation Conference in San Diego, CA and at the 2017 North American Systemic Constellations Conference in Virginia Beach, VA.

Susan was one of the American trainers at the 2nd & 3rd North American Constellation Intensives in Santa Barbara, CA and at Omega in 2014. Susan has organized multiple workshops for Bert Hellinger, as well as for Jakob and Seiglinde Schneider, Stephan Hausner, Carola Castillo, Jerome Kerner, Harrison Snow, Heinz Stark and Elena Veselago. She has attended workshops facilitated by Gunther Weber, Albrecht Mahr, Hunter Beaumont, Bertold Ulsamer, John Payne, Guni Baxa, Daan van Kampenhout, Sneh Victoria Schnabel, Ron Young, and Karl-Heinz Rauscher.
